What I Would Do For You

I would do just about anything you'd ask,
For you there's nothing I wouldn't do, there's no such task.

I would walk without my shoes to the end of the Earth,
I would give up anything I had to, to teach you self worth.

I would hold your hand every minute of every day,
But I won't because I know you need to find your own way.

I would surely bear the heartache of your first love that's real,
Even though I can't, I will naturally feel as you feel.

I would sell my soul if it would keep you happy forever,
I would give my right arm to keep us forever together.

I would run a hundred miles up-hill in the rain,
Just to guarantee that you will never feel pain.

I would laugh with you even if I was sad,
I will give you a smile even if I'm mad.

I can only accept your mistakes with a grin on my face,
I will guide you in correcting them, but at your own pace.

I will guide you through life, as this world can get quite wild,
Just don't you ever forget that you will always be my child.

Consignment Shopping

I stopped at a consignment shop that just opened near my house. I love these kind of shops because you never know what you'll find. Jamal will be born close to winter time so I have to make sure I buy enough winter clothes for him to last through the winter season. By then we should be living in Oklahoma (If the Navy doesn't change it's mind) so it will be our first white Christmas!!! Here are a few things I picked up.. The first outfit still had the tags on from Old navy(super cute!!). The second outfit is from Baby Gap, and the last 2 outfits are Carters. I also picked up a boppy pillow (bottom of pic) for only $12. That's a steal compared to the $35-$40 price tags I've been seeing at the stores!

The Tortoise

Today we went to a park that we go to regularly, Starkey Wilderness Park. We played at the playground and burned lots of energy. Here is my happy go lucky child, AJ. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! He's my little baby, still!

We saw a couple animals, an armadillo and a tortoise. We all ran up to the tortoise and the kids thought it was so cool. I took this picture and about 2 seconds later.....
The tortoise bit AJ!! I was so sad for him. AJ stuck his hand out to feed him a leaf and the tortoise snipped his finger. My poor baby. He cried... I cleaned it up, disinfected it, and put a band aid on it. AJ said that the turtle was scared and that's why it bit him. Boy, did I feel like a bad mom for even letting him near it. Talk about mommy guilt!

21 Weeks...

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 21 weeks

Maternity Clothes: I finally caved in and bought a pair of maternity shorts. They are comfy but long so I roll them up..lol And I bought another pair of those elastic waistband shorts out of the juniors section from JC Penney's

Sleep: I'm starting to wake up once a night to use the bathroom, then I can't fall back asleep.

Best Moment this week: We were shopping at Target and AJ saw the baby food. He said " Mommy, look, baby food. It's soooo cute. Baby Jamal has to eat it" It took me forever to pry him away from looking at all the jars of baby food..lol

Gender: It's a boy!!

Movement: Yes. One of the most comforting feelings. I already have such a huge bond with my little guy.

Food Craving: Fruit and Coffee. I forgot to mention that one last week. It doesn't matter that it's decaf, I just love the taste of coffee with yummy creamer.

What I miss: Going out with the girls for drinks and dancing.

What I am looking forward to: Ordering a Florida Gators diaper bag. Jamal will be born during football season!

How Big is Baby: He now weighs over 12.7 ounces and is a little larger than 10 1/2 inches long, or about the length of a banana.

Symptoms: Yesterday started the back aches and more headaches.

Ps. The little bump on my belly is not my belly button poking out..haha. It's my belly ring that I will be taking out soon.

John Chestnut Park

We went to a park we've never been to before, John Chestnut Park. It was a beautiful park! They had a playground, lots of picnic tables, baseball field, and a boardwalk along a huge lake. I'm thinking this is where I want to spend my 4th of July!! I actually just bought the boys their 4th of July outfits. I know it's kinda early but I LOVE holidays and I'm really looking forward to barbecue's, fishing, and fireworks.
We found the BEST fishing spot! As soon as we left the park, I went to Target to get the boys their first fishing poles and tackle box. We will be going back sometime this week. I really wish my husband were here to do these kinda things with us. Not really looking forward to putting worms on the hooks myself..ha! We will be visiting Andre again soon though and I can't wait!

Grandma's Birthday Dinner

Today started out by making my bi weekly batch of pancakes. I make a huge batch and serve them to the boys for breakfast then freeze the rest. It's just so easy to grab a frozen pancake out of the fridge and heat it up in the microwave. They taste much better than the frozen store boughten stuff. After breakfast, we had to get ready to go to my Grandmother's house for her birthday dinner. Her birthday was yesterday and she turned 64 years old. So we lotioned up, got dressed, and headed out the door. My mom and I cooked dinner. We made our favorite Paula Deen Pot Roast! De-lish!! Then enjoyed cake and opened presents. I always love family get togethers. Speaking of which, the kids have so many Grandma's that I am coming up with nicknames for each one. The kids are always confused as to which Grandma they will be visiting with..ha! My sister Kasey, Mom, and GrandmaYumm!!Happy Birthday Grandma!!!Goodnight!!

Shopping and Strep Part 2:

Last night before I laid down for bed, I made sure the kids were tucked into their sheets. I felt AJ and he was burning up. I woke him up to give him Tylenol and put him back to bed. That was all I could do until today when I took him to the doctors. I figured already that he had strep throat too and I was right. So now my days consist of giving them 3 doses each a day of antibiotics. It's always a fight with Ronde but AJ has always liked taking medicine.(Not that he has to take it often.) I will probably be the next one to get sick.
After my sister got out of school, we went dress shopping. I wanted to get that dress for the wedding and a Sunday church dress. Since I'm new to the area here, I soon realized that the nearest New York and Company is about 15 miles away. So Ross it was. I tried on 10 dresses and bought 2. My sister got this dress. It's adorable on her.

This is the dress I'm wearing to the wedding. I love it and also got CUTE gold wedges to go with it. Both dresses were on $9.99. I'm definitely going back to Ross soon!

Strep Throat and Zim Zari's

Last night, I noticed Ronde had a fever. I gave him medicine and put him to bed. At 5am he came into my bed and he was still burning up. I gave him more medicine and his fever went away for about 2 hours. I called the doctor to get him seen today. Turns out he has strep throat. Poor guy! I can only imagine how sore his throat must be. I've been giving him lots of fluids..and ice cream.
His fever keeps coming back. He's on 2 medications now. I went to Walgreens Pharmacy to fill his prescriptions and they got him mixed up with a Rondelle Harris from Louisiana who is ALSO born on a leap year.. February 29, 2008! I thought that was such a coincidence. Especially since Ronde is a shortened version of Rondelle.

After we got home, we got ready to meet up with my sister Kasey, Mom and Grandma for dinner at Zim Zari's. It's a California Grill that serves Tex Mex type meals. I ordered a Chicken and Corn Enchilada with rice and beans. It was REALLY good! The kids were very well behaved as well.

This picture cracks me up. Ronde looks like Bart Simpson. He is so cute!!

AJ lovin on his momma! I love my boys!

Shop Till I Drop

I did a lot of shopping when I first found out I was having another boy. I basically have to start all over since I got rid of all clothes that Ronde out grew. I even got rid of his old crib right before I found out I was pregnant again! I need EVERYTHING all over AGAIN..lol. So here are a few items I've got so far.
His crib bedding....
which I absolutely adore. I love the stitching and colors. I want to pair it with dark furniture just like in this picture.

This is the Car seat I got him. It's from the Graco Melbourne collection. I didn't get the travel set with the matching stroller because I want the sit and stand stroller.

This bouncer was from Walmart.com It's Fisher-Price My Little Eye Collection. I like the colors and it will match my living room furniture well.
This is called the Prop n Play. I've never seen these before till recently and thought it was so neat. I ordered one off amazon. When I got it, it wasn't what I imagined. The tube has to be blown up when I thought it was going to be a pillow that was similar to the boppy.
And of coarse, I've bought a lot of clothes. I shopped at Ross and they had so many cute Carter's clothes for great prices. This is just one bodysuit set I picked up.I also have been looking up baby names again. I love the name Easton but I think everyone has already got used to the name Jamal, even AJ. I'm so torn!! Picking names this time around has been so much harder.

Taking A Break To Play

Today I started potty training Ronde. I knew there would be lots of accidents and of coarse there was. I've been scrubbing pee out of my brand new carpets all day. He would sit down to pee but wasn't aiming into the potty..lol. Anyways, I had to give us all a break. AJ had been asking all day to go to the park, so we did!
I stopped at Starbucks first (Decaf soy latte), then we were on our way. There were lots of kids their age so that was nice for them to have a chance to socialize. We still don't know anybody in New Port Richey besides my mom, sister, and brother. I would like to make some friends and have play dates. Ronde loved the zip line. He kept saying "That was so fun!". AJ was really adventurous. He loved playing on the merry go round and climbing everything. I've never seen him climb so high on something at the playground.

Once we got back home, I took Ronde's diaper off and started potty training again. He did great! He even sat down on his own and pooped!! I'm so proud of him on his first day of potty training.

20 Weeks Pregnant

Internet and New Camera!!

My mom and I went to yard sales this weekend. The kids got a lot of toys and I bought some casserole dishes. I was so excited when I can across this blue tunnel that came with a pop up tent. I have so much extra room in my living room so it fits perfectly. We live in an apartment now (which I regret) and have no backyard so I wanted the kids to have something to play with that they will still wear off some energy. Only $3 bucks :)
I took the kids for a walk around our apartment complex. AJ rides his bike while I walk with Ronde. It was such a pretty day compared to yesterday(We had a rain storm out of no where.) I got a new camera as well so I was excited to get outdoors and try it out.

I'm finally getting Internet in my apartment!! And with my new camera, I'm back to blogging :)
