Planning Ronde's 2nd Birthday

Ronde Kingston Harris born February 29, 2008. It's amazing how much he has grown.

My sweet little boy is going to be 2 years old!! He is a leap year baby and we are celebrating his birthday this year on Sunday, February 28, 2010. I went to a baby shower yesterday and they had all sorts of appetizers. One of the appetizers was "Puppy Chow". I've made this before for my kids but it dawned on me...I could make this for Ronde's Birthday and do a Puppy theme! So far this is what I've come up with.

Puppy Themed Decorations from Party City.

Puppy ChowPuppy Chow Recipe :

9 cups Corn Chex®, Rice Chex®, Wheat Chex® or Chocolate Chex® cereal (or combination)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
1.Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2.In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
3.Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Puppy Cake from Walmart! I saw these last year at Walmart and they are so cute!! It is an individual size and would be perfect for Ronde to smash his paws in ;)

I showed Ronde my idea's already and he just kept say "Puppy Party!" over and over. He is going to love it :)

Changes..

Well a lot has been going on lately. We are getting ready to move on Friday to Florida. Andre will be going to A School in Pensacola, Florida to become a Flight Engineer for the Navy. While he is at school, I will move to New Port Richey, FL where my family lives and have the baby there. I'm excited because I'm in the works of getting an apartment in the same complex as my Mom, sister, and brother. They will just be a short walk away!!

We signed AJ up for Flag football to play with his god brother, Logan. I can't wait to see him out there playing. He loves football, he's really fast, and loves throwing the ball around. I may be biased but I think he is really going to excel at sports. They will have 8 to 10 football games. At the end of the season he will get his first trophy and a pizza party!

Here are a few pictures of AJ with his best friend Malakai. My friend Arycca took these pictures of them today. They are really going to miss each other. It always breaks my heart to see AJ say good bye to his friends. I guess this is the Navy life and it does have it's perks too.

Ps. My camera broke. This is the reason for lack of posts. I'm going to buy a new one as soon as we get paid!

First Ultrasound

This is my first ultrasound of baby # 3. My baby was 8weeks 3days when this was taken. I'm now 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby. I've been dreaming that it's a boy but still have my fingers crossed for a girl. Honestly, I really don't care so much. I would be happy being the only girl in my family :) Girls names are so hard to decide on. If it is a boy, we picked out the name Donte Jaxon. If it is a girl, I'm thinking about naming her Tiana Marie or Brianna Rae...I can't decide.
So far the pregnancy is going great. No morning sickness, craving strawberries, and probably starting to gain weight since my shorts are getting a little tighter. ha!
