I'm so happy that this year I got to spend a holiday in Florida. It's been almost 4 years since I've spent a holiday with my family here. This year, we celebrated Easter at my moms house. My mom cooked the ham and I made the side dishes (scalloped potatoes, green beans, skillet corn, sweet potato casserole) Everything turned out great. My grandma made a Lemon cake with lemon icing and raspberries in the center. Delicious!! I just only wish I took a picture of all the food :( I didn't mind eating leftovers!! My good friend Heather came over as well with her 3 kids. We took the kids down to the lake and tried feeding the baby duckies bread. The ducks surprisingly weren't too interested.
Easter morning, A.J. woke up and right away spotted an Easter egg. He said "MOMMY!?!" and pointed to the Easter egg. I said "Lets get a bag and try to find them all." So the Easter egg hunt was on. It was his first time and he found all the eggs in less than 3 mins. I also got a phone call from my hubby first thing that morning. I knew it was gonna be a great day :) Here are a few pics from Easter.
