We went and did some shopping today. I was looking for maternity clothes but of coarse they are all hidious!! Honestly, who would feel attractive in these??!!I don't know if my legs just haven't swelled up enough yet for maternity clothes because even an extra small feels like I'm wearing garbage bags! We went to Marshalls and they had some cute baby stuff. I picked up a baby catapillar toy, 2 pairs of shoes, and a set of newborn onsies that Jamal still needed.
After that, we went to Target. I was so proud of Ronde because while we were shopping, he told me he had to pee and held it until we got to the bathroom. He does great at home but he usually never tells me when he has to go when we are in public. Hopefully he keeps this up and he will be fully potty trained soon!!
When we were done with our shopping, we ate lunch at Panera Bread. I never get tired of that place. I always think it's so surreal when I bring my two boys there. Andre and I met while working at Panera and never would I have imagined that OUR children would one day be eating at Panera. Below is the Caterpillar toy that I got for Jamal. I think Ronde has claimed it for himself though. He hasn't let go of it since we left the store! At Target, I picked up a new Nemo game for AJ's leapster since he has been so good about listening lately and cleans his room when I ask him to. He hasn't put that game down neither..lol (He will always remind me to buy batteries when we are at the store. He goes through 4 AA batteries a week)
Here are the onsies and shoes I bought. AJ picked out the sandals size 12-18 months. So Jamal can walk around in them next summer. I also got these cute brown Robeez shoes size 3-6 months. They were only $9.99 which is a great deal for Robeez since they are usually $30 +. They match perfect with his winter outfits and look really comfy.
And here are all the clothes Jamal has so far. They are all Carter's brand that I've picked up from Ross and Marshalls for way cheaper than the original Carter's prices. I still need to buy quite a bit more clothes in each size but I'm sure I'll have no problem doing that :)
