Re-Enlistment

Today, my husband re-enlisted in the Navy for another 2 years. He does plan on staying in for a total of 20 years. The kids and I had to get up at 6am to get dressed and ready to go to the hanger and watch him swear in. It was very nice. I got to meet his Chiefs, Commanding Officer, and some of the people he works with. Everyone had great things to say about him. They said that he the hardest worker and that everyone should follow by his example. I'm so proud of him! He received a certificate and an American Flag. Our children and I also received certificates for thanks of supporting him, making sacrifices, and staying loyal/faithful to him. I love him so much and know that he is doing the best he can for our family.

Andre also finally submitted his security clearance to be accepted into Flight Engineer school. He has always dreamed about being a pilot and a Flight Engineer is the next best thing. Flight Engineers get to fly right along side of the pilot and works all the switches and buttons it takes to fly a plane. He strives to become someone great. He never settles for anything less. Here are some pictures from this morning.
