Ronde turns 4

Ronde turned 4 years old this past Leap Day, February 29. I've been waiting for this day since my baby boy was born, to be able to wish him a "Happy Birthday" on his actual Birthday! I always imagined that this Birthday would be a huge celebration, however, Ronde's Birthday landed on a Wednesday and daddy is deployed. All Ronde wanted to do for his Birthday was to go bowling..so bowling is what we did! I took all the boys bowling on base. Ronde won the game! We also played a little air hockey then I walked them over to the playground to play some more! I cooked him Chicken Spaghetti for dinner and for dessert we had a Spiderman Birthday cake. Ronde got a Leapster for Christmas and it broke already. It's the 3rd one we've owned and we just don't seem to have much luck with them. So for Ronde's Birthday present, we got him a Nintendo DS and a Mario Kart game. Even though we didn't have the big Birthday party that I imagined, I think Ronde had a great Birthday spending it with his family.
