Jamal eats and AJ's drawing

Jamal tried baby cereal for the first time today. It was rice cereal and I mixed it with his formula. Jamal is 3 1/2 months old but I decided to give it a shot. It's always a fear of mine, ever sine I had AJ, that my kids won't eat. AJ would refuse to eat baby food until he was about 7 months old. Even then he would put up a huge fight and was eating baby food until he was 14 months old because he refused to eat table food. Nightmare!!

Jamal liked his cereal, thank the lord!! He had about 7 bites and was able to swallow most of it. He was even laughing and cooing the whole time. I kept telling him "good job","yay", and "you're a big boy!" to keep him excited about eating. I'm going to feed him cereal once a day for about a month and then I'll start him on stage 1 vegetables. He should be a great eater in no time!

AJ and Ronde wanted a front row seat to watch Jamal eat. AJ said "He can't eat, he has no teeth". haha. Ronde said "Is that the babies oatmeal?"




This is a drawing AJ did a little while back. I love how he draws his people. They always have a big head and the arms and legs stick out of the head..haha AJ told me that this is a drawing of his Aunt Kasey, Grandma Berley, and Grandma Jones.
