First 24 hours

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments. It means a lot to me!!

It's almost been 24 hours since Jamal was born. In this time he has had his first bath, has had many exams, he passed his hearing test, learned to breastfeed, and has had 3 poopy diapers..ha! Sorry TMI. I thought we would go home tonight but my nurse came in and told me that we have to stay one more night. The pediatrician should check him out one last time in the morning and then we should be on our way home.

We had a visitor today! Jessica came with her little ones, Ahna and Collen. They brought Jamal a little gift.. diapers and a little winter outfit. We got to catch up with each other which was really nice.
