This morning the kids painted birdhouses! I love seeing their little creative minds go to work. AJ did very well! He made sure that every spot of wood was covered up with globs of paint. He really payed a lot of attention to the details. AJ said "I'm a great artist!" I do have to agree. He does draw the best "Mommy" I've ever seen :)
Ronde was more worried about getting the paint off his hands. He had 3 baby wipes that he kept cleaning his hands with. Ronde kept saying "It's beautiful" when he was painting his birdhouse (which he calls a "castle"). I would ask him if he was done painting and he would respond "Uh..Not yet" It was so cute!
I have a feeling that these birdhouses will become toys. AJ is waiting patiently for his to dry so he can hold it.
