Ronde's 6th Birthday

 Ronde turned 6 years old this past February. We celebrated it on March 1, because it was a Saturday and he is a Leap Day baby. The plan was to have his party at Chuck E. Cheese, which I reserved. We did a Spiderman theme, although he really wanted Wolverine. (I could not find anything XMen in decorations or cake). They had a basketball game that morning and right after the game, we went to Chuck E. Cheese. Once we got their, it was complete chaos. Chuck E. Cheese was not allowing anyone to come in and were beginning to ask people to leave. They were having plumbing problems and I was out of a party location. I was so upset, I cried! I was so excited for his party and I felt like it was completely ruined. Thankfully, I had some pretty awesome party guests that helped me figure out a new plan. We ended up at McDonalds. I was not thrilled about this location, but the kids had the indoor playhouse to play on and their friends with them so they had a blast anyway.  I will never book another party through Chuck E. Cheese. GattiTown is way better anyways.

Basketball Season

We are big Oklahoma City Thunder fans! It only made sense that we sign our kids up for basketball this year. It was their first time playing for a team. We have a basketball hoop at our house that the boys play with everyday so they already had the concept down. Ronde played for the Warriors and A.J. was on the Celtics. Ronde really excelled at the sport and learned a lot this season. A.J. has a natural talent, but gets a little shy on the court. He's not shy at home and is very competitive. Games were every Saturday morning and the Youth Rec Center took it very seriously by playing intro music and calling each child out by name and to be funny, they would announce a fake height and City/State of where each kid was from. I really enjoyed watching their games and can't wait till the next basketball season.

A.J.'s 7th Birthday!

We celebrated A.J.'s 7th Birthday this past November. We had his party at Laser Quest! It was so much fun. I haven't played laser tag since I was a kid and I knew A.J. would really enjoy it. All the parents and kids got to play. The laser tag arena was 2 stories with a ton of awesome hiding spots and mirrors which made it more difficult. A.J. wanted a Soldier cake, again! He picks a Soldier cake every year. haha! This had to one of the best parties we've done so far.
